Black Ops 1 Zombie Maps Not Showing Up

Ok, this DLC along with the last one just isn't showing up for me. The 2 before them work just fine (I have pics to show). However, these 2 just don't show up. Can anyone help me out.

Can anyone help me figure out why the DLC isn't working?

It's possible they are just bad copies. Make sure you have the latest dash launch installed (this is the most important), and that your game xex is patched.

Out side of that, it might be possible that those two newer DLC's have changed off of the previous format and should go in another folder or sub-folder, or have changed their encryption so that XM360 doesn't work with them yet.

Hmm... I've never heard of patching a game for JTAG. Know how I would go about that?

i had a map pack glitch a couple days ago. I rescanned everything with fsd. double checked with xm360. enabled tu7. started game. turned off xbox. started back up, enabled newest tu, start game, everything was good again.

ok... first use dashlaunch that always help lol.... then manually atch the xex to tu10(makes sure that the tu is not the problem), also if they are from different regions you may have to make a region free xex

Also, what do you mean by patch the tu manually. Never done it before, can someone point me to a tutorial.

The latest dash is 13599 and you are on 12625. You have to make a new freeboot image with the latest tools and flash it to your console (however this is most likely not the problem it doesn't hurt), and the latest dashlaunch is 2.23b, make sure your on it. Also as Fire said, make sure the TU region is the same region as your game (though xex patching the game as I describe bellow makes it region free and bypasses this requirement)

Also as you asked how to patch the game with the TU manually. TU are just like a patch for a PC game but are compressed inside a container file (which is the file you get when you download the TU). When you run the game it temporarily extracts the TU to the cache folder and the game uses the new, updated files instead of the old ones. You can manually patch the game with the TU so that the TU is permanently extracted into the game files so that the TU is merged into the game.
You can do this with this tutorial.

Ok, did all that, but I still don't have all the maps.

I managed to get the 4 previous zombie maps (the ones from WAW), but I'm pretty sure the DLC was suppose to have moon as well. There's also that I still don't have shangri la. What do I need to do now?

Download wxpirs and open the tu000003_00 etc file in it and extract it. Move those files into the same folder you have Black Ops extracted in and it should work.

ok, not sure what I did but once I updated dashlaunch to 2.23b and Freestyle Dash to 2.0 RC1.4 the game just wouldn't boot. So I put in a fresh copy again and it suddenly started working. The files in the game weren't even patched (because it was a fresh install) and it still gave me all the new maps. Not sure why, but after that fresh install, dashlaunch 2.23b and FSD 2.0 RC 1.4 I got all the maps.

Because the latest dashlaunch has auto-patching built in so that it automatically patches your xex's and dlc's

Hi, i didnt want to make a new thread as im having a similar issue to this.

Im using Freestyle Dash 2.0 RC2.1 with Dashlaunch 2.26 with the latest 13604 dash so everything should be up to date.

I extracted black ops using EXiso and extacted it to games folder of my external HDD and it now shows up and boots in FSD.
In FSD i highlighted the game, pressed Y, scrolled down to install TU's.

The black ops DLC files i placed in Content\0000000000000000\<here>

None of the maps show up for any of the DLC. This is my first attempt at using DLC as i've not long had my RGH'd console.
I have also manually downloaded TU #11 which was the correct Game:id for my game which i checked for in ABGX.
This file i placed in HDD:\content\000000000000000\<here>

I have XM360 installed and it shows up as DLC unlocked. I have tried placing both TU and DLC on both internal and external HDD and am at a loss what to do next.

Any help would be really appreciated.
